WATERWALL V1

A collaboration from GSP.studio and Andrew Bernstein. WATERWALL V1 is an interactive installation that explores the relationship of movement, shape and sound through the mediums of light and water. A mist screen transforms water into a canvas for bright projections, allowing movement and sound. The generative images are randomly created through algorithms and projected onto the mist screen to seemingly float over the water, creating a dynamically changing immersive experience. A person's body is quickly sketched as the person moves in a designated area, when this sketch comes in contact with other shapes in the piece it creates sound. The larger the shape, the deeper the pitch of the sound, the small the shape the higher the pitch of the sound.
